#### *About the Tournament*

Get ready for two action-packed days of full-contact junior rugby!
*Penang X’Rugby 2025* returns for its *4th edition*, bringing together young talents from across the region to compete in high-intensity matches filled with passion, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

This year’s tournament features *five exciting categories*:

* *U12 Boys:* 20 Teams
* *U10 Boys:* 20 Teams
* *U12 Girls:* 8 Teams (1-Day Event)
* *U10 Girls:* 8 Teams (1-Day Event)
* *U8 Mixed:* 8 Teams (1-Day Event)

#### *Tournament Format*

* *Type:* Full-contact rugby (Tackles, Rucks, Mauls & Scrums)
* *Kicking:* Permitted
* *Hand-offs:* Allowed below shoulder level
* *Field Dimensions:* 70m x 50m (No goal post — Super Try worth 7 points)
* *Lineouts:* No lifting permitted
* *Laws:* U19 variations of World Rugby Laws
* *Match Duration:* 7–1–7 minutes (Halves–Halftime–Halves)
* *Games:* Minimum of 5 matches per team over 2 days
